I used to hear about your orchestra and maestro Alexander Sladkovsky from Russian musicians with whom I worked. It was an interesting project for me to come here and take part in a concert. It is not always possible to establish contacts with musicians, because I speak a different language, however, I try to conduct rehearsals in the language of gestures and emotions. Here we all understood each other, at every rehearsal and at a concert the musicians gave all their best. I am very thankful to Maestro Sladkovsky for his invitation. You've got a wonderful Orchestra! I was amazed when I came to Kazan. The Orchestra worked very well at the rehearsals, and during the concert it was simply astonishing. I think, the Orchestra from Tatarstan has wonderful perspectives!

In this joyful attempt to convey the ideas of Schnittke, to show the concert verge, together in Kazan, we were merged!

I am amazed by the level of the State Orchestra, here in Kazan…Wonderfully! So, there is no problem with the music life here.

I had true pleasure. I really don’t know what to wait when I got the invitation. Especially, taking into consideration that this repertoire is rather unusual embracing the music epoch of early baroque to late classic period, which differ significantly from style perspective. So, the musicians had difficult tasks. But I was amazed their enthusiasm and conscientiousness according to the fact that I don’t speak Russian! It was really wonderful experience for me. And I think that musicians in their turn also got something new from this music project.

All income from our charity concert will be sent to the construction of the children's hospice. The orchestra have been collaborated with the Angela Vavilova`s Fund for three years. Today it was a fantastic concert. There was marvelous energy, friendly audience. The orchestra is brilliant, fantastic! The musicians are very professional. It was obvious from the first rehearsal. The orchestra was like a single instrument during the concert.

The impressions of the orchestra and maestro Sladkovsky are excellent, some kind of high voltage! I have worked with many orchestras in the USA, and here, of course, the level of detail, the level of dedication - is beyond the limits! This is not the first time I have been playing with this orchestra, but still, emotions are overwhelming. Wonderful team! I hope there will still be an opportunity to work together again.
