We met Alexander Sladkovsky when I was still studying at the conservatory, while he was still a young conductor. Our creative union was formed after the first joint performance and now we are only increasing the number of joint concerts. Especially, this concerns the Crescendo festival, where I constantly perform together with the TNSO under the direction of maestro Sladkovsky. Alexander Sladkovsky is the only conductor with whom you can sit down and run the entire program in one rehearsal. He is a very sensitive accompanist; it is comfortable to work with him. We value Sasha (Alexander) a lot. He is such an outstanding conductor. When we learned that he had been appointed as head of the Symphony Orchestra of Tatarstan we realized that he would be able to transform the orchestra into a top-notch one, one of the international level.

The concert was really amazing, fantastic! I find that this orchestra is absolutely wonderful. And the very atmosphere of the concert was amazing. I am really surprised at how much the audience participated in everything that was happening-all these young guys and girls, how emotionally they perceived the process of conducting, the orchestra playing, and the music.

I was surprised by the level and quality of the orchestra from Kazan. The musicians perform four completely different programs. It's impossible to believe! Artists are ready to work, create music, and this work is amazing! I am very pleased that Maestro Sladkovsky has invited me to perform with your orchestra again next March as part of the Beethoven cycle. I hope it will succeed.

I want to Express my pride and gratitude for participating in the international festival "Rakhlin seasons" with such wonderful artists. The invitation to the festival was very pleasant, joyful and honorable for us. Giving three concerts during the festival is a great creative success.

I mean it when I say that you don’t get to see so high a level of performance too often. I feel very awkward saying it but I find myself liking my own music some of the time. They are really on a high level. I hadn’t expected to see such a great orchestra here in Tatarstan before coming here and I’ve been totally amazed by it for three days now. I haven’t heard such a fabulous orchestral sounding in a while. You can see that there is a great professional at the helm guiding the group, a professional you are never afraid to follow. Alexander Sladkovsky is one of the greatest orchestral conductors of the time and I hope the people here have recognized him as such.

The orchestra is great. The wonderful conductor is my friend Alexander Sladkovsky. I consider him to be one of the best conductors of Russia. It’s very easy to play with him. He feels music perfectly. He knows jazz in a great way, as for classic music – I’m out of words. It’s not fearful to go with him from the ship to that ball. Because of circumstances I had to stay in Moscow. Besides, the airplane delayed, we were late. Though, with such conductor, orchestra which sounds brilliantly and everything sounds perfectly in this hall.
