The first international festival of contemporary music named after S. Gubaidulina "CONCORDIA"

"CONCORDIA" is one of four festivals held by the State Symphony orchestra of Tatarstan (approx. Tnso 211 g. I have already held festivals " Rakhlin seasons (April)," White lilac "(may)," Kazan autumn " (August).
The festival is held in Tatarstan, the birthplace of Sofia Gubaidulina. Sofia Asgatovna accepted the invitation to take part in the festival. In Kazan, it is expected on November 5. On this day, one of the most outstanding cellists in the world, David Geringas, will perform a work dedicated to him by the composer - " Und: das Fest ist im vollen Gange»

The festival of her name is a tribute to her on the one hand, and on the other hand, a way to tell the world that Gubaidulina is Tatarstan, and Tatarstan is Gubaidulina. This connection is very important."
In the program of the first day of the festival-the audience should hear it on new violins (note: purchased new instruments in the Italian Cremona in the workshop of Eric Blot) - "Enlightened night" by Schoenberg. This is the last romantic work that was written in the history of music.
In croce-an essay that marks 3 years since its premiere. Together with Geringas, it will be performed by Rubin Abdullin, who was the first performer of the organ part.

The orchestra will perform the Third Symphony , one of the most outstanding works written at the turn of the century. The Symphony is dedicated to Leonid Roshal. A famous children's doctor accepted an invitation to the festival. Lolita Sylvian, Director Of the Association of Symphony and chamber orchestra leaders (ASCOR), is also expected in Kazan on November 19.
In the second concert of the festival: a Symphony for wind instruments by Hindemith, as well as works by composers of Tatarstan – Shamil Timerbulatov, Anatoly Luppov and his students-Elena Anisimova and Masguda Shamsutdinova.
The first international festival of contemporary music named after S. Gubaidulina "CONCORDIA" is a participant of the Cultural Olympiad in Sochi-214 and the Cultural Universiade in Kazan-213.
