People’s artist of Russia, the knight of Honor, the laureate of International contest among celloists “Prague Spring” (IIIrd prize and bronze medal, 1980), since 2006 he is an art director of created by his lead St.Petersburg’s Music house. Since 2004 he went into conductor’s activity.He performs in Moscow, St.Petersburg, Novosibirsk and also abroad in Germany, Finland and Japan. The invited conductor from Mariinsky Theatre. The extensive solo and orchestral repertory includes the works of various epochs and styles.He has records on the radio and television. Annually he conducts the series of workshops in Russia, European countries, Korea and Japan. He takes part as a jury in the work of national and international contests.
