Soviet and Russian conductor, professor. Peoples’ Artist of Russia, People’s Artist of Tatarstan, Honoured Man of Arts of Russia. Herbert von Karajan Conducting Competition 1st prize (1971), the Gabdulla Tukay State Prize of Tatarstan winner (1974). Between 1986 - 2010 F. Mansurov was Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra.
