August Sebastien Philippe Bernardel (1798 - 1870) – is a French violin-maker. He founded a workshop in 1826 in Paris. Subsequently, he worked together with his sons, of whom the most famous was Gustav Adolf B. (1832 -1904), who created in collaboration with E. Hahn the firm "Gan and Bernardel brothers." The most famous instruments of this workshop were copies of instruments of Stradivarius, Guarneri and other Italian masters. 2000 Cremona, Italy
