Sladkovsky is not only a symphony, but a real opera conductor. He managed to
catch every my breath and it was very helpful. Only a few can do that. I felt
the conductor, he felt me and this made a wonderful tandem. I can’t but say
that the Orchestra has completely changed! It was a revelation and a great
surprise for me. I hope that, with the help of Maestro Sladkovsky our Symphony
orchestra will be first-class orchestra. I had the impression is that the orchestra has a crazy enthusiasm, because the musicians are eager to play, to feel new emotions, to create. It is just felt that’s why it’s incredible pleasure to play with the orchestra. I have heard about the orchestra for a long time, I have been to concerts in Moscow more than once. His fame spread far beyond Russia, everyone knows that in Kazan there is such a powerful orchestra, the city must be proud of it! This is our first performance with TNSO, and I am very impressed. These were incredible moments on stage! It was a great pleasure for me to play together, such moments are very rare! It was wonderful to play with Tatarstan National Symphony orchestra. I have known this orchestra for a year now - from the moment we met in Irkutsk at the festival of our beloved Denis Matsuev. Today I was again bewitched by the orchestra and maestro Sladkovsky how sensitively they reacted, how carefully they listened to me, how they created music! As for the performance of Prokofiev’s Third Symphony, I can’t even express my enthusiasm! Like real great music, you should not just like or dislike. She must change something in a person. I think today the conductor and the orchestra succeeded. I love this music for a long time and both as an opera and as a... I am sure that the orchestra has a great future. All those days it was very nice to work with the orchestra from person’s and musician’s perspective. The programme is unbelievable difficult: accompaniment, and «The Sea» by Debussy. I’m very glad that the musicians and I managed to do it real. There was and the sun, and the wind… I would like to play with this orchestra again. I was very pleased to play with your wonderful orchestra. We had little time and it was worrying. But the musicians listened to me attentively and responded to what the conductor said. It’s very nice because it was real collaboration. Today all did their best, the concert was played very well: with character, beautiful. I would work again with the orchestra with great pleasure. Tatarstan National Symphony orchestra is a single great sounding instrument. Together it’s a feast of sounds, tints, fortissimo, pianissimo. It’s a merit of the orchestra, and, of course, Maestro Sladkovsky!
