Wang Yuqian (born October 1, 1999) - pianist, third-year undergraduate student of the Kazan State Conservatory, class of Professor E.V. Burnasheva.
Was born in Changchun (China). In 2017 he graduated from high school in China (class of Professor Gen Tsen), then in the same year he entered the Kazan Conservatory.
He is a laureate of the II prize of the “II All-Russian Open Competition for Young Pianists named after Yuri Egorov” (Kazan, 2017), awarded a diploma for the best performance of the French Suite in the “XVII Rustam Latypov Open All-Russian Competition” (Kazan, 2018), Diploma-recipient of the “R. Gummert International Competition of Young Performers” (Kazan, 2018), laureate of the 1st prize at the “Hong Kong-International Open Piano Competition named after F. Chopin” (Hong Kong, 2019).
